Yes, Beyond Expectations Barber College is licensed as a Barber School by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board and the Ohio Veterans Commission.
The education and training you receive at Beyond Expectations Barber College (BEBC is designed to prepare you for employment as:
  • Barber
  • Stylist
  • Barber/Stylist Shop Manager
  • Barber/Stylist Shop Owner
  • Hair Care Product Salesperson
  • Demonstration Specialist for Hair Care Products
Tuition Cost includes: Tuition, books, fees, and supplies
  • Barber Program (1800 Hours) Cost: $11,000
  • Crossover Cosmetology to Barber Program (1000 Hours) Cost: $9,000
  • Barber Instructor Program (500 Hours) Cost: $4,000
  • We are unable to accept any Federal tuition payments [FASFA (PELL), OIG].
  • Cash, Credit Cards, Checks.
  • We are a VA approved.  If your are an active, retired, spouse, or dependent of a U.S. service member, you may qualify for educational benefits through GI-Bill ®.
  • In-house financing payment plan must be set-up-with only the Director.
  • A personal loan. You must apply on your own.
You must be 17 years old.
BEBC enrolls as slots become available.
  • Full-time Barber Programs you can expect to graduate in approximately 10.5 months.
  • Full-time Barber Crossover Program, you can expect to graduate in approximately 6 to 7 months.
  • Part-time Barber Crossover Cosmetology to Barber Program, you can expect to graduate in approximately 10.5 months.
  • Full-time Barber Instructor Program, you can expect to graduate in approximately 3 months.
  • Part-time Barber Instructor Program, you can expect to graduate in approximately 6 months.
To get your Diploma or Certificate, you must complete the 1800 Barber Program hours, the 1000 Crossover Cosmetology to Barber Program hours, or the 500 Barber Instructor Program hours, as well as successfully pass the theory and practical examinations and complete the required number of practical procedures.
Absolutely! BEBC own several shops that they can place graduates. We work with our graduates to help prepare them for their career search.
Yes You Can. The State Of Ohio does not automatically preclude you from becoming a Licensed Barber because you have a felony or have been to prison. This is a case-by-case basis.
No, It Is Not Difficult And We Have A Stellar Success Rate In Helping Students Obtain Licensing. Also, We Love Students Who Have No Prior Barbering Experience And Who Question Their Own Ability To Become A Great Barber. Why? Because Their Humility Makes It Easy For Us To Teach Them.
To get your license, you must pass an examination by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board. BEBC graduates have a very high passing rate. All throughout the course, we help prepare you for the exam. We’ll even give you a “mock board exam” so you’ll know what’s expected.
Yes. You Can Attend BEBC for A total of 1000 Hours and Receive a barber’s license when pursing A Cross-Over Cosmetology To Barbering License. You will learn the basics of barbering history, sanitation, cutting, and shaving.
